esti, amparo & silvia · the enablers

eugene · the organiser

My passion is creating the perfect atmosphere for learning English that is not only effective but also enjoyable and relevant for real life. In my role at The Point Language Centre, I focus on designing and organising our online classes, coordinating the teaching team, and supporting parents and students.  In my free time, I’m a keen traveller, cook, and film-lover, always eager to learn from other cultures.

marta · the geek

My name is Marta, and I was born and raised in Pamplona. I fell in love with English when I was very young and have dedicated a large part of my life to studying it. In my free time, I love reading with a nice warm cup of tea and listening to music.

jacqueline · the tattoo girl

Hi, I’m Jacqueline. I’ve been living in Pamplona since 2014 and have more than 8 years of teaching in Spain and Ireland. I truly believe that learning English has to be fun! I’m all about traveling, rock, tattoos and cats.

bob · the landsman

Hi, my name is Bob. I’ve been living and teaching in Pamplona for about 4 years now and it’s been great. I love to spend time outdoors hiking, cycling and walking the dog so Navarra is perfect for me. In teaching I’m able to meet lots of different people from different situations and help them out with thier desire to learn English, its fulfilling and fun. I look forward to meeting you.

rosa · the rocker

I’m Rosa and my love for teaching English grew over the ten years I lived in England. I’m passionate about linguistics, and when I’m not teaching, I enjoy listening to rock music and cooking Italian cuisine.

andrew · the adventurer

I’m Andrew, from Awabakal Country on the south-east coast of Australia. I’ve lived in Malaysia, UK and Germany, and the last 8 years I’ve been in Navarra. I love the landscape, the food, the culture and the festivals here. English can be a tricky language, but I love having fun with it, and helping others understand it. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy travelling, running and playing pelota.

laurie · the biker

I’m Laurie, from Essex, on the east coast of England. I’ve been living, working, eating and drinking in this country for five years, finding great joy exploring the beautiful roads of Navarra on my motorbike. I’m passionate about linguistics and all of the
terrible complexities of the English language, but in my free time I also love playing the piano, cooking, films, video games and all things trivia.

cindy · the cinema buff

I’m from England and have travelled to many parts of the world. I’ve become fascinated by Navarra—its dances, languages, food, villages, and countryside. I’m also, of course, a big fan of the English language with all its strange, funny, and beautiful expressions. When I’m not teaching, I love cinema in any language, travelling when possible, and spending time with my friends.

naiara · the explorer

Hi, I’m Naiara, born and raised right here in Pamplona. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for music, reading, and traveling. Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, and I’m thrilled to be sharing that passion with you at our academy. At The Point, I am in charge of classes with young children, reinforcement groups, and attention to diversity.

jane · the storyteller

My name is Jane, I’m from the beautiful island of Ireland where I studied before relocating to Pamplona Navarra. I have been teaching English for nearly 30 years. I am also a storyteller, something the Irish are famous for. I love nature, the outdoors and my dog Ali (named after my best friend). For fun, I like hiking, kayaking, and camping.
And even as an adult I still don’t understand why it’s not normal to eat dessert after breakfast. Favourite food: «pintxos».
